Maine Lobster Leads

Made in Maine, by Maine Lobstermen,  these leads are a  true example of recycling!

Floating lines, used to secure lobster traps, have been replaced by sinking lines.  This protects the Northern Right Whale (an endangered species) who would normally become tangled up in the floating lines.

Tons (literally) of floating line is now being recycled into dog leads; what a great use of resources!!  Outfitted with a comfort-grip handle, & a rugged (as they say here in Maine) clasp, these leads come in a variety of colors.
